The administration service also includes the establishment of new SMSFs with the service attending to the application for TFNs and ABNs, being the ASIC agent for the corporate trustee of the funds as well as having the capacity to lodge the funds’ accounts and tax returns with the ATO through its associated tax agent. Our associated tax agents are SMSF360 Accounting Pty Ltd (Tax agent number 26282353), and Shape Super (WA) Pty Ltd (Tax agent number 25861878)

We will reconcile all funds on a quarterly basis to ensure that any reporting obligations such as Transfer Balance Account Reports and Instalment Activity Statements and payments and which will enable you to have access to the most up-to-date reporting to assist you in the provision of your advice. Reporting obligations able to be provided include any ROPS reports for an advisor’s QROPS SMSFs which need to be made to HMRC in the United Kingdom.
Audits are conducted by one of a quality panel of trusted auditors but, should you have a specific preference as to the engagement of an auditor, we are able to incorporate this flexibility in our offering (additional charges may apply).

After an extensive analysis of options in the market place, we have also entered into an agreement for the provision of SMSF documentation to Shartru to ensure that we have a consistent, high quality document base for your SMSF clients. A price list for the more common SMSF documents is attached. In particular, for those advisors who specialise in UK pension transfers, we have negotiated some amendments to the QROPS trust deed to ensure greater ease of reference and which incorporates all current references to any restrictions imposed by HMRC. In the event that the standard SMSF documents do not contemplate a particular scenario, we have the capacity to arrange for a tailored document to be provided.
We are also aware of the increased scrutiny by the ATO as the Regulator of SMSFs of fund investment strategies. We have developed a comprehensive template which is tailored for your clients’ specific circumstances with additional trustee resolutions to support the trustees’ obligations for “regular reviews”.
